2) Choose a reliable person who meets T.A. Barron's and our hero definition:


A hero is someone who, when faced with a touch challenge,

reaches down inside and finds the courage, strength, and wisdom to triumph.

3) Look over the seven basic hero qualities below and decide which THREE your hero demonstrates most.

• courage -bravery in tough times
• faith - personal, spiritual beliefs that cause people to do great things
• perseverance - the ability to keep on trying
• hope - the force that keeps someone going, knowing that the future can be better
• humor - someone who looks on the bright side even when times are tough
• adapatability - a driving force to make changes for the better
• moral direction - knowing the right from wrong and choosing RIGHT even though it might not be popular
